In the post From 1 to 1,000,000, we looked at the number 1,000,000 and the odds 1-in-1,000,000 and tried to wrap our heads around them. We made this poster as a way to wrap your head around those numbers.
The poster is a 24" x 24" (61cm x 61cm) square with a 1,000 dot x 1,000 dot square of a million total dots. This allows you to effectively visualize the number one million (it also helps to visualize 5 or 10 or 100 million, or even a billion, by picturing multiple posters next to each other).
One of the dots is red. It takes a hunt to find it, but once you do, you can understand exactly what 1/1,000,000 means. So one poster, two extreme numbers to visualize.

This original Wait But Why poster is printed on acid-, lignin-, and chlorine-free paper that is also pH buffered with calcium carbonate for a true archival sheet.
Due to the fragile nature of the posters and shipping couriers, we will not be able to accept returns on these.

Measurements are taken of the front of the shirt. For example, a Men's Small says Chest = 18", which means it measures 18" from left to right of the front of the shirt. The full shirt circumference = 36" (front and back combined).
